At the University of Michigan , we are currently pushing to gather and transform as much biographical data about prospects into Interest Data. One area we have recognized as a possible source for this project is the Guidestar data in the Affiliations tab of the Wealth & Ratings section of BBCRM.
In this section we would love to have the "Subject Area" that Guidestar publishes on their website included in the BBCRM constituent/organization relationship listing. See example. While the CRM does include the "description" of the organization, the "subject" of the organization more closely aligns with our existing interest data categories. Therefore, we could more more easily transform the constituent's relationship with the organization into interest data.
