Build in giving to other non-profits as a proxy for capacity
It would be nice to have the ability to factor in giving to other non-profits when you are trying to calculate a prospect's giving capacity. After all if someone gives a 6 figure gift, they are able to give at least that amount away. Use only the largest gift on the low-end of the NOZA gift range as the modifier of the MGC. A large confirmed gift to another nonprofit would trump the 5% calculated MGC if the largest gift is larger than the 5% calculation and it is within a given time frame, perhaps 10 years. Also it would be helpful to add up political giving to be used as part of the capacity rating.
Yes, I would love to be able to add past giving into the capacity calculation. It doesn't make sense that if their assets give them a low rating, but a large gift can be confirmed, that it wouldn't factor into their capacity.
Agreed - one of the features of ResearchPoint that I really like is the ability to create multiple capacity formulas, but since political giving, family foundations and other charitable giving cannot be used to formulate a capacity rating, I still have to use my own spreadsheet to set a capacity rating. It would be great to be able to ditch the spreadsheet.

We have finished Discovery on this and it is currently planned for our 4.97 release. I will update this as we have more information.
